Biographical Information

Frank R. Knight is a Certified Public
Accountant practicing in Ardmore who specializes in Individual, Small Business
Tax, and QuickBooks ® software setup, installation and support.
A
1965 graduate of Southern Methodist University’s Cox School of Business, he
began his career with Sears Roebuck & Company and was promoted to their Chicago
Corporate Headquarters. In 1976, he was appointed Controller of Mc Master-Carr
Supply Co. in Elmhurst, IL. The Knight family moved to Ardmore in 1981 when
Frank accepted the position of Vice President & Controller for a local
independent oil producer.
Frank sat for the CPA exam for the first time in November 1989 and was issued
his certificate in January 1990. Prior to his decision to establish his CPA
practice, he was employed for ten years by the Samuel Roberts Noble Foundation
where he was Vice President of Human Resources.
Always active in the Ardmore community, Frank has served as President of the
United Way of South Central Oklahoma, President of the Southern Oklahoma Blood
Institute, President of the Board of Trustees of the Ardmore Public Library, and
President of the Southern Oklahoma Ambulance Service. He served as Scoutmaster
and Assistant Scoutmaster of Boy Scout Troop 5 for nine years, was a board
member and Council Commissioner of the Arbuckle Area Council, and Treasurer of
the Troop Committee for Troop 5.
Professional
affiliations include the Oklahoma Society of CPA’s and the South Central Chapter
of Oklahoma Society of CPA’s.
